I forgot this site existed until I received an e-mail shortly after new years! Wow, what a blast from the past!

I've never been one for new years resolutions, but this year I just "want to do better than last year" which.... last year was rough, and shouldn't be too hard to beat.

Sadly any progress I made back in 2012 was quickly lost after a few major life changes. Back to square one for me! This go-round, I want to also focus on mental health and not just physical. I know there are a lot of different avenues I can improve on - maybe this will help me be more accountable to myself. Either way, baby steps!

Currently I am starting at 31 years young,125 pounds, and I am 5'10" - putting me just into the 'underweight' category, which I usually hover around. I realize that might not be the usual reason people are on here, but it has been something I've struggled with my entire life. I am hoping first to move to a 'normal' weight range, and I think it's realistic to be nearing my goal in about 6 months if I do it in a healthy manner. I'd wish myself luck, but luck has nothing to do with it! Lets go!

My Goals:
-Maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle, with a focuses on;
* Eating less processed foods and eating foods higher in nutritional value
* Maintaining a better sleep schedule / pattern
* Taking time out of the week to self reflect and analyze
* Reduce stress and anxiety levels
* Become more organized and better at keeping track of the day-to-day
* Learn to appreciate myself

-Through Exercise I would like to;
* Improve cardiopulmonary capacity
* Improve flexibility; specifically in lower extremities that are tight, radiating into low-back-pain
* Improve poor core strength to assist with balance, stability, back pain, and posture
* Gain a healthy amount of weight
* Improve self-image
* Combat depression/anxiety, and the accompanying lack of self-respect, self-worth, and low self-esteem

-Life Goals
* Return for further schooling in healthcare field


My Program:
-Weight Training / Circuit
-Daily Walks / Jogs / Biking
-Swimming when possible
-P90X



Personal Information:
I work in healthcare, love my job and love the field overall. Though it has it's challenges, nothing is more rewarding to me than feeling like I am helping people and serving a purpose.

Hobbies include drawing / painting / general art stuff, cooking, getting out doors during the summer months (or for an occasional snow shoe outing), the musics, the readings, and the being a nerd.
