Time to stop the impending train wreck and get back to doing what served me so well last summer. Tracking food was the main reason for continued weight loss every week. So, I am revisiting the proven method offered by Sparkpeople to get myself on the downward trend again.
I used to play a lot of competitive sports when I was younger (mostly volleyball) and now have arthritis in my hips and lower back which prohibit my ability to do a lot of activities. Walking is one of the few physical exercises that I can do with relatively minimal pain.
And off we go!

I'm 59 years old and have three grown sons and 4 grandchildren. Currently I share a house with my boyfriend of 10 years. Happy that he started his own weight loss journey shortly after I started and he has lost about 70 pounds!
This past year found me with a ton of spare time on my hands since I opted to close my online business. In the past I would spend one day a week sourcing out quality pre-owned clothing to resell. Since March 2020 with Covid my partner and I felt it was prudent to avoid my weekly shopping trips. I had to find something else to occupy myself.
I started making craft projects for my young grandchildren. They have been all theme based and it started with Halloween followed by Unicorn, Christmas, Under the Sea, Valentine's Day and Easter. Each month I send them a parcel in the mail with a whol
