I'm still alive. I'm still kicking, just not very high these days. I've been a member of Sparkpeople for a very long time now, but have not been active at all.
Now, my daughter is older and is wanting me to get fit, as now she is into the workout thing. Ugh. My mind says yes, my heart says yes, my emotions and my body say no.
Tomorrow we are planning to head to the nearest Planet Fitness and sign up.. UPDATE: February 9, 2016
Well we did sign up to Planet Fitness over a year ago. I'm in no better shape than when we signed up. I did great for awhile but ... Excuses, excuses...,
UPDATE: May 15, 2017 still a member at Planet Fitness, but I've only recently started making true progress. Since November of last year, I have lost 43 pounds. This is due to a mindset change and a scare last year of realizing my health was taking a beating from the pounds and the stress in my life. But things are better now!
UPDATE: November 1, 2017 - down about 60 pounds since this time last year, give or take a pound or two at weigh-in. I've been hovering around that mark for a few months now.

My Goals:
I need to lose over a 100 pounds, but anything less will be great!

UPDATE: As of November 2017, I now have 'just' another 60-70 pounds to lose.

My Program:
Right now, I am trying to 'rebuild' my program. My home gym actually got semi-flooded back in the spring. So far, the basement is still in shambles...

Workouts, these days, consist of walking mostly. Just eating better on most days. I have allowed my self the pleasure of eating some favorite foods on special occasions.
