I share my home and life with 4-footed friends - 2 cats (Starkist & Shadowspawn), & 4 dogs. My little dogs are smallest dogs I''ve ever had - Samurai the Papillon, and Spartacus the rescued chihuahua (also known as "the little weasel) & their bratty little sister, Sharona - I think she’s a chihuahua/ Boston Terrier mix. She may be younger, but she’s bigger than the boys! Just added to the mini-pack at the end of January 2018 - a rescued teacup Chihuahua, Shiloh. She has a heart murmur, so the only way she can go on the walks is if I carry her.

I got the lap-band surgery in Nov 06. So far, I''ve lost over 120 pounds (3/9/10). Recently changed my end goal to even less. (155). Sigh ... about 25 pounds have found their way back.

I was an RN working 12 hour night-shifts - retired 30 November 2017 after 40 years in Federal service (including my 10 years as an Army Nurse). Still having trouble sleeping at night, and not napping in the daytime.

My Goals:
Mini goal - I'm gonna bust thru 200 by the end of July!! DID IT!!! 7/13/09

Finally made 2 separate week weigh-ins of less than 175 - yeah! 3/14/13

Get in shape so my knees don't keep stressing.


My Program:
Walking my little dogs every day. Throwing in strength exercises while I wait for the sniff breaks for them.

Other Information:
I'm a reader. Can't go to the bathroom without book in my hand (even if I don't open it in the little room). Love my cats and dogs.

    I brought Tylenol...thst’s it. So still drippy but I feel ok. I have an AZ pack courtesy of my GP ...if it’s prescribed , I can avoid the US price. We walked today and souped it up for dinner. I use all travel sizes...TSA compliant, then I hit Ulta.
