Spring Time Fun. Longer days are here. Time for Lenten observances. Easter’s not too far away. It’s time for gardening, fishing, and vacation planning. Looking forward to the first buds on the trees.

"Know thyself, or at least keep renewing the acquaintance.”
— Robert Breault

My name is Diane. Proud Clover and Dragon.
I have 30 pounds to lose to feel good in my clothes; improve my muscle tone; and control my blood pressure and cholesterol.

My advice:

Stop surrounding yourself with people who don’t support you.
You’re the average of the five people
you spend the most time with. Choose wisely!

Attitudes of a Warrior
I am a warrior... I act in spite of fear.
I am a warrior... I am willing to do whatever it takes.
I am a warrior... I do everything at 100%.
I am a warrior... I am willing to do what's "hard."
I am a warrior... I act in spite of my mood.
I am a warrior... I am bigger than any obstacle.
I am a warrior... I succeed in spite of anything.
I am a warrior... I never give up!

My Goals:

1- Limit Sugar, Sodium, Cholesterol - TRACK IT ALL

2- 60+ EXERCISE MINUTES PER DAY (Don't be afraid to let it be 10 mins at a time!)

4- 1/2 Plate of Veggies every Meal

No Excuses - Making excuses burns ZERO Calories per hour.

My Program:
Meal Planning and Sticking to it.
Thursday - Weekly Meal Plan
Friday - Grocery List/Shopping
Sat/Sun - Batch Cooking helps.

Exercise -
I am struggling to find a good program, would love to find a consistent trainer I like, but I have some good "go to" work-outs and videos.
Weekly Weigh Ins

With COVID19, I am not traveling for work Mon-Thur like I was before ... so that should make working out and eating right easier, right?

Personal Information:
I love the beach, fishing, & gardening. I'm married to my dear husband 32 years. And we enjoy volunteering as Sunday School teachers and VBS Leaders for our church.

We have a daughter, son-in-law, and cutest 8 year-old grandson ever ;-)
And love animals, too! One dog, Freddy; 3 cats: Marie, KC, and Kitty; and a very friendly turtle, Lucky.

I work as an IT Project Manager and am often out of town for work days at a time. I do my best to plan meals and workouts that still fit into my overall plan.

Thank you for the Easter goodie and Easter wishes. It will definitely be a different way of celebrating this year, but I hope I can get through it without getting too lonely. Happy Easter to you also.

    Rules of Chocolate Easter Eggs
If you get melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.
Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
Diet tip: Eat an Easter egg before each meal.
It'll take the edge off your appetite, and that way you'll eat less.
If you can't eat all your chocolate, it will keep in the freezer. But if you can't eat all your chocolate, what's wrong with you?
If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves.
    Money talks. Chocolate sings.
Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.
The problem: How to get two pounds of chocolate eggs home from the store in a hot car.
The solution: Eat the eggs in the car park.
Why is there no such organization as Chocoholics Anonymous?
Because no one wants to quit.
