Introduction Text Hi my name is Mel and I am a Mom of 2 boys and full time chemistry student looking to lose some weight. I have 5 cats and they are a big part of family life. I used to be on Spark over a year ago. Last year in January we were in a car accident and I had injuries that didn’t allow for me to do much of any exercise. I kind of gave up on life believing I would never recover. I completely let myself go and became depressed. Now that I am feeling like myself once again I have rejoined Spark, started my mostly morning routine (and daily for that matter) and corrected some of my poor nutrition choices. I love to have friends on here and you can add me if you like. God Bless and good luck to everyone on this journey with Spark! We can do this! Update: We now have five cats physically with us (Virginia, Blaze, Pharaoh & Rosie & Rocky(babies) and one with us in spirit(Lola). I am struggling to cope with the loss of Lola but I know she is with me in spirit and always will be. I love and miss my sweet baby. In loving memory of Lola my sweet baby girl 01/27/2016-08/15/2018. I will always love you wherever you go baby girl. Update: I have officially hit a plateau and that’s ok, I will work to overcome this obstacle but I will love myself along the way!
