Trish's Neverending Story.............
Start each new day with a commitment to do what's
right regardless of what may come your way.
I truly believe the above statement, you always have a new day to try to get things right. It may not be a perfect day, but really, how many perfect days are there? :)

I've been battling my weight since I was a lean 130 pounds in high school, with everyone telling me I was fat. HA! If I could go back and slap someone, I would, and I would tell that insecure girl that 130 pounds is far from fat.
So, I'm back to my spark, even though I never really left. I track on my phone app, but have gotten a Fitbit, which forces me to track here if I want it to go there. At least until I figure out how the apps sync.......lol
So, I'm here and have decided to change things to make my page current. It's been awhile since I updated.
My goals are now to keep eating like I'm not a starving person and to exercise like I did when I was that sad girl back in high school. Which means, not stuffing myself, being aware of actually eating while I'm eating, and exercising at least 5 days a week, 7 would be awesome, but sometimes life really does get in the way.
So, I'm down 10 pounds now and hoping that my mind is where it needs to be, cause we all know it starts there :)

My Goals:
My goals are to get to a healthy weight and learn to live and eat healthy! I've been struggling with this lately and know what I need to do. I do have my moments when I NEED something sweet, but as long as I don't go overboard, I'll be ok. I am starting new and am ready to get moving again!
My Program:
After 32 months of training with Luke, the best personal trainer ever, he has closed his gym. I've joined another gym and have a new trainer, Joey, a great personal trainer! He pushes a lot harder than Luke and really gives me a good workout. I'm only able to go twice a week and I know I should be doing something else when I'm not there. So, I've finally started going to yoga once a week and really like it! I am intrigued with kickboxing and mma, thanks to Luke. He is a pro MMA fighter and I would love to see him fight! Someday........ :)
Wow, need to update this! Haven't been lifting weights or had a personal trainer since Joey got married last summer. Why do all my trainers get married and leave me? lol Also, no yoga either since my instructor moved to NC, and can't seem to find a good replacement, even after going to two different places. Besides, I also found out I have 3 herniated discs in my neck, so no extreme yoga positions for awhile :(
EDIT: I am back training with Luke
Personal Information:
I'll be 63 on March 9th, and am trying to get back into shape and lower some of my numbers. I can still run for a short distance and lift heavy with the best of them! I was very athletic when I was younger, playing basketball & softball in school, tennis, and even football with the boys out of school! If it was considered a sport, I would try it! Seems like I spent my youth running, climbing, hiking, biking, and just playing and having fun! I finally feel like I can go out and do any of these things now!
I have been married to Jack since October, 1987, 33 years. We both worked for the Postal Service and are enjoying our early retirement, effective January 31, 2013, due to a buyout! Now we can spend our time traveling. I have one son, Jimmy, who is 37, and engaged to be married to Ashley. He has a daughter, Riley, who was 16 on May 27th. She is my only grandchild so far!
I WILL be in the best shape of my life in the coming months.
Other Information:
Love music!
Love poker!
Love to read!
Love to travel!
Love Sudoku!
Love football!
Love photography!
And love my old Eclipse! R.I.P. :(
