"If you want to do it, all you have to do is do it." - Ben Davis

"You have a choice. You can throw in the towel, or you can use it to wipe the sweat off of your face." - Gatorade ad

"If we always do what is easy, how will we ever improve??" - Me

"If you really want to do something, you'll find a way; if you don't, you'll find an excuse." - Unknown Author

"Either accept that you are making the choice to stay where you are, take responsibility for your choice and stop complaining . . . or . . . take the risk of creating your life exactly the way you want it." - The Success Principles

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

No excuses; only results. What would that look like?

-I would set goals and challenges and bust my butt to meet them.
-I would eat nutritous foods all the time (or at least mostly).
-I would work out regularly and hard.
-I would find the consistency that seems to elude me.
-I would finally start losing these 50+ pounds that need to go.

What are my motivators?

-The sense of accomplishment and self worth that come from achieving something I worked so hard for.
-Knowing my children have a healthy, active example in their mother.
-To live a long, healthy, and full life because I've treated my body well and it will serve to do the same for me.

So the down and dirty:
195 = 36.84 BMI Obese
190 = 35.90 BMI Obese
180 = 34.10 BMI Obese
175 = 33.06 BMI Obese
170 = 32.12 BMI Obese
160 = 30.23 BMI Obese
150 = 28.34 BMI Overweight YAY!!
140 = 26.45 BMI Overweight
130 = 24.56 BMI NORMAL!! ROCK ON!!

    True the sand would be a pain BUT what if I was a pro beach volleyball player who didn't actually play, just looked good on the side line? hahahaha LOL They have rockin bodies though, I could only imagine how hard they train. I did a little reading on some volleyball players and it sounds like most of their days are spent training........ so maybe not as attainable for me :( It's kind of like biggest loser.... looks great but not really realistic

    Hi Angie!
    Been doing the 1500 calories a day high protein/low carb plan to kick start my metabolisim.....just tired of eating eggs, chicken, oranges and salads....they do allow fish, but I don't like any type of fish anymore since being food poisoned years ago! The diet is working as I have lost 10 pounds in the last month and am almost able to wear my size 10's again....I'm just missing my carbs, but happy with the results. I will get to eat carbs again in a week or that is why I have been bored!!!
    Hope you are doing has been crazy here with rodeo performances, getting taxes finished and running my business, but at least I am popping frozen grapes in my mouth when I am stressed and not cookies!
