I'm in it for the long haul. Less worried about the number on the scale than I am with the way my clothes fit....and the number of miles I can run. Less worried about body inches than body image....because if I don't love ME right here, right now, then losing 5 pounds won't be fixing what's really wrong in my life!

Fitness is important. A healthy diet is important. But most important to me is equilibrium. I need a sustainable lifestyle that doesn't leave me feeling deprived! While I really enjoy active outdoorswomaning - running, biking, hiking, kayaking, climbing, etc. - I also enjoy a glass of wine (or two) in the evenings, dining out with friends without feeling guilty over the calories...and let's face it, at certain times of the month, chocolate is necessary.

Fitness Minutes: 183,341

My Goals:
Goal 1 = 223 lbs. Since August, I've lost and regained and relost the same 8 pounds over and over again...but I have not managed to get back below 224 lbs and stay there for any real length of time.

Goal 2 = 200 lbs. This is a big goal. I haven't been below 200 since I injured myself two years ago. At my height, this also means I'm "overweight" instead of "obese"!

Goal 3 = 180-185 lbs. Prior to my injury, I was hovering at 180-185 lbs. This was the highest weight range where I was able to run a half marathon. This is also halfway back down to a "normal" weight range.

Goal 4 = 160-165 lbs. At 5' 8.5", this is the upper end of my "healthy" weight range. Before I started grad school in 2014, I was hovering at 160-165, so this also represents recovery from unhealthy habits I adopted as a busy student.

Goal 5 = 150 lbs. This was my healthy, happy weight through my 20's. I'd love to get back here!
