Introduction Text On my personal journey to lose weight and get fit after delivering baby #3... My main motivation is my marriage next June. Dress shopping WILL be the experience I want it to be.... already down nearly 50 pounds.... I WILL NOT be a plus-sized bride. I just had a baby on 12/23/09. My goal is to lose around eighty pounds AND to keep it off by adopting healthy lifestyle changes. I want to look beautiful in a wedding dress and find a fabulous dress that isn't in the plus sizes!

I am spending more time in the grocery store making better choices. Although I am making better choices, I tend to fall off the wagon easily and my portion sizes are not in check. I am easily tempted and need to increase my willlpower! I walk and hit the gym at least three times a week. I need as much support as I can get, and since I am on the computer a lot, I thought that this would be a good place to begin.

My name is Melanie and I have three beautiful biracial children, ages ten, six, and nearly eight months. I am divorced, and happy to say that I have found a great guy and am in a solid relationship. We are getting married 6/25/11 and I will look fabulous!! I am 36, and I am looking for buddies to help keep me on track, and I like the idea of people peeking over my shoulder, watching my progress.... I want a sense of accountability, and I am hoping this might help.
