I want to lose weight. I know that much. How to do it is the key. I LOVE food and I am an emotional eater. I have little will power, even though I have been told that if I do not lose the weight by 40 I will have a heartattack or stroke. See, I have extremely high triglycerides and fairly high cholesterol. I am a fulltime working mother and finding the time to excercise when I'm not exhausted from work, dinner, dishes and bathes is a difficult task. So here I am, hoping that this will change my life. I am ready.

My Goals:
There are so many that I am trying to pick one and run with it. First is controlling my eating. I eat and enjoy it. The only time I don't eat is when I'm sick and that isn't often. I do have to lose weight for medical reasons.

My Program:
I have no idea yet. I'm lost and need direction. That's why I'm here. I suppose to begin I can control my portions during meals and eat slowly. I have a elliptical, but I need advise on strength training. I don't know what is right or wrong.

Personal Information:
I am a fulltime working mom, married almost 12 years. I currently live in MS and origanally from California. I struggle daily with my weight and hate every minute of it.
