Starting afresh in June 2021! I have joined a challenge for the summer, and dare I say, I'm feeling invincible already! :-)

* * * * * * *
April 21 -- 11, again (been up and down the last couple months)
February 2021 -- still 11 away
January 2021 -- this is getting ridiculous, 11 lbs to re-reach that goal made 11 yrs ago! I'd be happy to just lose 6. :-)

July 2020 -- oops, need 8 gone!
June 2020 -- 7 to go!
May 2020 -- 9 left to go!
April 2020 -- 10 to go!
March 2020 -- 13 to go!
February 2020 -- 15 to go!
January 2020 -- Well, 16 to go!

July 2019 -- 17 lbs to re-reach goal!
May 2019 -- 18 lbs to re-reach goal

July 2018 -- 23 lbs above goal, oh am I humbled indeed

July 2017 -- Regression, now 17 lbs from goal... not giving up more like angry, tired of the up and down... my weight must not follow my emotions, my emotions must not follow my struggles
March 2017 -- Had some great progress in past months but started going in reverse about 2 months ago; I now need to lose 13 lbs to get to goal
January 2017 -- Only 8 lbs to re-reach goal

July 2016 -- After gaining a few more pounds to nearly 19 lbs over, I am finally on the downhill slant and starting to feel good again! 11 lbs to goal!!
February 2016 -- I have been up and down 3-5 lbs for the entire last year and a half resulting in still being 15 lbs over my goal. Nevertheless, I do indeed feel that goal is the most optimum weight for me, and I will continue to strive in reaching it once again.

August 2015 -- Now 15 pounds over my goal reached 5 years ago, and determined to close in the gap.

July 2014 -- Halfway through the Summer Challenge with 2 of 7 lbs down for the Challenge. Then 10 more to be back at the ideal weight for my body frame. :-)

October 2013 -- As I start the Fall Challenge on the Starfish team, I am presently 17 lbs above my reached goal in 2010. My mini-goal for this challenge is to lose 7.3 lbs which will bring me just below 140. Yay! I will love being below that line again. :-D
August 2013, a few down and a few back up, still struggling with the extra 15
April 2013, now a 7 lb gain for a total of 15 up, oops...

June 2012, back with an 8 lb gain (after having met my goal in January 2010)

Pondering how I ever got that heavy... how to stay motivated to keep the weight off... how to experience the joys and sorrows of life without misusing food.

Hoping to make some friends along the way as we encourage one another to develop the habits of health!
