Millions of us use the Revised Common Lectionary readings each week:

There are daily readings that complement the weekly readings:

please note that M-W readings look back at last Sunday's texts, Th-Sa look ahead to the next Sunday's texts.

My Goals:
Meeting new people, encouraging others, walk @least 5 miles a week, lose 59 pounds by Mar2015, find a healthy church of disciples of Jesus and function like the family we are. Simple, eh?

My Program:
Team challenges, daily sparking, co-op w/ VA doctors, simplify my life, practical help to neighbors I meet in this life. Listen to bible audio at bedtime helps too!

Personal Information:
I love to cook and bake, but I live for BBQ. Hahaha it ain't BBQ if it ain't smoked ;-)

I fingerpick guitar, since 1973 (hero:Chet Atkins, bb king). Play piano (fav: ragtime, Edvard Grieg). Blow coronet & trombone (fav: wynton marsalis, chuck mangione) and still enjoy Earth,Wind and Fire; Pink Floyd; Stevie Ray Vaughn -- incl' Mary had a little lamb.
I also really dig Stephen Curtis Chapman, Chuck Girard and Love Song, Larry Norman, and of course Keith Green

Other Information:
"When life gives you a bunch of lemons, make orange juice and leave them wondering" -- Instagram fm my niece.

I am a broken caregiver of my disabled wife; since my stroke/drain bamage [you can smile at that, ironic THe Wink] in Dec'08.

Who says God has no sense of humor? He made me, didn't he?

emoticon I am glad my photos mean something to you.
4 years ago I was challenged to walk a mile each day for 100 miles so I did you tube videos. Then I read an article where a female moved to a new town, during her lunch break she walked around and took photos of new things she saw. My place isn't new. I've never walked outdoors...only did u-tube exercises. I decided to start walking outdoors and take photos of 1 thing a day that kind of hits me that day. A flower, a rain drop on grass, etc. I put on FB. Day 100 I wrote 100 in M&M. The 2nd year I put it on FB and blogs. My hip started to hurt in Oct so I stopped. Last year and this year I started in April instead of June. Makes a difference! I put my 1 photo in my blogs and FB. Day 100 I wrote with candles. I wasn't sure I wanted to do it this year. I start out walking a block and as I get use to walking outdoors, I add distance. I switched phones and it won't let me blog so I decided to put my walks on the feed. It's fun. I normally just take a photo of whatever stands out to me that day. The only photo no one understood was when I stood under a BB hoop and looked up. It was fun! I do get mad-I stand and hear a frog and can't find it to take a photo or a photo of a bike in a ditch full of water doesn't come out on camera. Or a butterfly flies away! It gives me something fun to do as I walk. Some days I never know what is in our neighborhood...bouncy houses, tee-pee, etc. I've seen them in peoples yards along with socks on the road!!!

I noticed that you mentioned PG Tips tea. My sister-in-law loves that tea and introduced me to it. Have you ever tried Typhoo tea? My favorite! Very robust flavor.
