Hello! I haven't changed my intro in 8 years so I thought it might be time. I have tried many things with varying degrees of success. I started this journey at 455 pounds, and managed to lose 110 on my own. I kept it off for 3 years, then started slowly creeping back up. In March of 2018, I had gastric sleeve surgery (starting at 369 pounds).

My Goals:
I would be lying if I were to say my only goal is to shift to a healthier lifestyle. I want to be healthy, and I want to be an active person capable of doing all the exciting adventurous things I am interested in. Currently, my weight prohibits me from taking part in many activities like bungee jumping, skydiving, and sitting on folding chairs. I do really want to be as healthy as I can but I want to be smaller, I want to move more easily and I want to be able to enjoy lifes active options!

My Program:
 First things first: I have quit smoking with the support of my WONDERFUL wife Andrea. Secondly I am integrating as much exercise as I can. Thirdly I have gotten control of my eating, especially binge eating which was a major problem for me.


Personal Information:
I work in the medical device field. I like the outdoors and playing sports.

    Thanks for the comment on my page :) Am really struggling to lose, possibly cos I'm taking steroids for my arthritis. Has taken me 6 months to lose 9 pounds, even though I'm a huge fatty mcfatarse, bah! Huge congrats on the giving up smoking as well, did you use anything or go cold turkey?
