I'm married to a wonderful man and we have 3 beautiful daughters. I have 1 dog (Riley), and 4 cats (Coraline, Chloe, Sunny & Haven). If you can't tell, I love just about anything thats dark, gothic, and vampire.

I'd like to lose some flab, about 60 pounds of it. I'd like to run a marathon, but am going to start out small, and complete a 5K and work my up to the big one. I want to be healthier, eat healthier, and just plain live a heathlier life style. I want to teach my children to do the same so they do not struggle with weight when they get older.

I'm trying to stay within my calorie range set by spark, but I'm not following their meal plan. I'm making wiser choices when it comes to food. I've joined a gym that I go to 3 days a week, plus I use my treadmill at home and go for walks/hikes/bike rides when it is nice outside.

I'm from Iowa in the US. I live out in the country and just love it.
