My Goals:
Goals + Daily Action = Achieving Your Dream

1. Eat a more plant based diet.
2. Eat more fiber - over 35 grams per day
3. Move every day
4. Reduce sugar consumption



My Program:
Your limitation—it’s only your imagination.

Exercise Plan

Aim for 60 minutes of exercise per day.
*Strength train at least 3 times per week
*Cardio 3 times per week
*One day per week active rest day - usually Saturday
*Practice yoga/pilates daily

Nutritional Plan

*Incorporate more calcium rich foods into diet per doctor's instructions.
*Track food and measure foods instead of estimating portion size.
*Continue to aim for 35 grams of fiber a day.
*Stay within Sparkpeople's recommended daily calorie range.
*Eat until 80% full,



Personal Information:
I turn 60 in 2021. I am married and still work as a CPA. However, I am dreaming about retirement more and more. I have two grown children and no grand kids at this time. I do have two fur babies - Maximus and Corky.

    Good morning, Fae. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your comment. Yay! you will get your first vaccine this week! It is awesome that your husband does the cooking for you both. My husband is retired, too, but he doesn't cook very often, though I wish he would. I have no complaints though, because he takes care of everything else here: grocery shopping, errands, house cleaning, yard work. He will even clean toilets and the shower, but he will not dust. LOL, I can manage the latter.....seems a good trade-off. Essentially, he makes it so I can fully focus on my client work and babysitting the grands. I feel pretty lucky emoticon

    Losing 2 days during tax season is tough -- that's expressed in tax season hours, not a usual 9-5 kind of day. Many years ago, I worked for a CPA for a couple of tax seasons. The work before a due date is grueling and long, long days are typical. I feel your pain. I had a business owner's wife text me last night at 10:30p inquiring when the corporate tax return would be ready. She just turned over a full year's worth of expense reimbursements a week ago (always late). emoticon To compound things, the CPA who works for himself and who will prepare the taxes called me last week to tell me he has covid; he is older and he sounds terrible. I hope and pray he will be okay.....good thing extensions can be filed if needed for these unusual times. Sending you wishes to stay safe and healthy! (and sane!) emoticon emoticon

    Very fortunate here in college station. We lost 30 minutes of power and we do not have to boil our water. To tap for frozen for one day but I don’t think they’re gonna leak. Best of luck to you Barbara
