    Too many times people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more material things or money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the
    reverse. You must first BE who you really are, then DO what you love to do, in order to HAVE what you want.

    The formula for success is first Be, then Do, then Have. If our material abundance reflects the quality of our BEING, then how much do we focus on what we are actually DOING? As with everything in life, it’s a matter of balance.

    How do we keep our inner fire alive? 2 things, at minimum, are needed: an ability to appreciate the positives in our life – and a commitment to action. Every day, it’s important to ask and answer these questions: ‘What’s good in my life?’ and ‘What needs to be done’?

    Are you on the right track towards your goals?

    emoticon . Thank you all for your support this week. It really does mean a lot to me. It has been crazy. This is one week when i really second guessed my reasons for going back to school. i survived AND I kept up with my eating and workout goals. Therefore despite my grades, I will be happy.

    One of the virtues that is often over looked is compassion. To find true compassion in someone is a gift, to have it a talent. In this site, I have seen so much compassion that I don't think people actually understand what a gift they are giving to others each day as they motivate and support one another.

    A Hot List is basically a to-do list with one key difference: it only includes topics or tasks that really matter to you, those that genuinely affect your quality of life. You know -- the ones you never get around to! The ones that will make your life your own!

    Keep a prioritised Hot List handy to remind you to claim 5 to 15 minutes to focus on and write about what counts in your life. Even 5 minutes is better than nothing. Start small and the momentum will build.

    You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage -- pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically -- to say 'no' to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger 'yes' burning inside. So, What's on your hot list?
