Wow it is almost June, so much has happened! I left my semi-abusive and manipulative partner of 14 years and moved in with my Sister and her family. I set in October the intention and made a vision boart about being more independent and brave, my therapist at the time thought that it would be 'good for the relationship' little did I know it would cause things to implode and me to reaaally be brave and step out of my comfort zone. At my heaviest I had gotten up to 295 pounds, in spite of all my good intentions. I am now down to 258. I did buy the Tao Te Ching and I enjoy it although it was an acquired taste and I didn't understand parts of it

Like I said.. It is almost June and I've dropped almost all the soda.. What I drink is diet, and I'm down to one cup of coffee or so in the morning. A lot of times we don't even have soda around. I walk to and from my group therapy and appointments and have taken the bus around town once. I do have a health and fitness coach but its through another program so I won't talk about that here. I live in a pretty nice finished basement, but all the bathrooms are upstairs.. so I go up and down stairs all day long. At first my knees were killing me, but with dropping to around 260 or under my knees are doing a lot better. Today I walked twice my normal and my knees are hurting again, but that is really unusual.

I am Single and Married to Myself! After 4 bad relationships I think its time to just enjoy being on my own and discover who I am, what I like and what I want. That sounds super over the top selfish to me, but like I tell other people: self care is not selfish.

My Vision Board for Summer of 2019 is all about Learning Spanish...…….. Jane the Virgin is on Netflix and telenovelas are on Hulu.
