Earlier this year I was hospitalized, during my stay they found out I have hypothyroidism. That explains a lot about how even when I'm eating healthy and exercising I can't lose much weight..

I am in so much pain from my Fibromyalgia I can hardly move without very strong pain medications. I'm on literally about 20 different meds for the FMS, Bipolar, GERD, BP.

I am gonna try to do this. I want to lose weight primarily to get off some meds and heal my obesity induced illnesses. The FMS I'll have forever but I can't help thinking that with less weight for my body to carry around I'll feel better.not to mention if I don't get healthy I'll never live to see grandbabies.

My Doctor and I are going to be starting the paperwork started for a lapband. A Lapband in and of iiself will be enough to reduce my pain and medical problems.

My Goals:
First of all I'd like to be able to play with my kids (5 and 7) without getting winded...I'd like to be able to do ANYTHING without getting all out of breath. I want to wear LITTLE clothes and look great in the lingerie my hubby loves so much, he is so turned off by me we haven't had intimate relations in about 9 months.

Things I want:

1. to be able to tie my shoes without getting a head rush 2. Buy "normal" sized clothes
3. Be able to fit in ANYTHING I want to from Fredrick's
4. Be able to see my feet when I am standing
5. For my thighs not to rub 6. For people to look at me before and after and assume I had a gastric bypass...
7. be able to do a WHOLE episode of Inhale
8. Get my family into eating and being healthier. 9. become more organized in my life  
Second I am finding out who I am. For so long I was abused...so I thought to get away from that I had to be what others wanted me to be. BUT I hate it. I have my own thoughts, I just to grow


My Program:
Eat smaller portions to prepare for Lap band, Drink LOTS of water, MOVE MY BODY everyday even If I am hurting...even 5 minutes of movement is better than none  1. Drink less Beer--I QUIT DRINKING,JUST LOST THE TASTE FOR IT
2. lots of veggies AND fruit
3. get active a little more everyday  4. I QUIT SMOKING!!!



Personal Information:
I live in OC Cali...5 minutes from Knott's Berry Farm. I am 38, married for 9 years July 1. I was 134 when I met my husband and gained more than 100 pounds in the last11 yeasr! My husbnd ha gained a lot of weight and that doesn't bother me so I cannot see why it's so terrible for him.  I am severely Bipolar, OCD and PTSD  I am currently trying very hard to manage my fibromyalgia and my tendancy to over obsess.  


Other Information:
I love A Haunting and all things supernatural. My favorite authors are Stephen King and Bertrice Small..  I am a nut, very crazy. I LOVE people. I enjoy politics and am a VERY conservative Republican.

    Thanks so much for the kind words and hug. (The pix of me is a few yrs old & many pounds fewer than I am now). It has been frustrating of late. I noticed a weight increase when I hit 30, but in the past 5 yrs I've really added on the pounds. It all started with the antidepressants I was on. And has gotten worse since then. I used to weight 119, now at 174 I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. But, I'm not giving up. I may be waylayed and on a temporary hiatus, but I will get back in the game. Life is a challenge, but I guess its all in what you make it!!!
