"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out"

Thanks for commenting on my blog today. I'm sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to doctors. I am on limited income with no insurance and the doc I go see is in a prorated clinic. I think more than anything, I just need to be really firm with him about my problems/needs. Here's hoping he will be listening. He is willing to treat the problem, he just takes baby steps sometimes.

Hey! Just thought I'd drop you a line with some healthy calorie boostin' idea's! One of my favs-- 1/2 mango chopped, 1 banana sliced, 1 cup fat free vanilla yogurt thrown into blender w/ 1 c skim milk... makes for a yummy HEALTHY smoothie split into 2 servings ends up being a lil over 200 cals/serving. Also I'm in love w/ 100 cal snacks, and 90 cal special k bars. Also let me know if you like zucchini, I have a great lil recipe I got off here I could share that's 52 cals. You don't have to eat fatty foods to boost the calories! The smoothie is my fav healthy calorie booster when I am having trouble getting enough in. Happy to hear your not giving up! Deffinatly try upping those cals though! Funny how eating more can sometimes help you lose more! Good Luck! Hope you bust that plateau soon!

Oh, for sure you should try upping those calories! I have the exact opposite problem - I've been exercising, but eating wildly. That's why I'm cutting so low this week.

(Today is a 1000-cal day; it's almost 4:00 pm, and I'm ready to eat my right arm. LOL)

    Good luck this week!

Thank you for the suggestion on the almond meal/coconut flour pancakes recipe! I can't wait to try them. I'll post my recipe for sugar-free "jam" this weekend. Basically mashed up strawberries, steia or splenda, and a little unflavored gelatin. You can add some maple extract if you like. Mix up the ingredients, mash 'em up, and cook 'em down. Even if you buy organic frozen strawberries out of season (love that Trader Joes), it works out to be a little cheaper than stuff out of a jar. emoticon
