I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

Thanks for the blog love about matching my weaving to the fabric for project bags. It is always hard in a fabric shop, when they have things side-by-side, to only take one!

Photos: anything I didn't know anything about went out because if I don't know, the younger folks surely won't. Husband likes taking pictures of things. Daughters aren't going to care about this building, that car, that scenic view unless they were there. Nowadays at least he keeps his pics in a computer file. I'm fortunate in that my nephew wants some of my mom's pics. I kept things for him that I thought would be interesting. Her albums of tea parties, church stuff, and the like won't be of interest to him in the least. However, her album of a particularly nasty winter in NC when the power was off for almost two weeks, a tree fell on her roof, another tree took down her deck, and she and my gramma were holed up at Gramma's house by the fireplace, now that album with pics and notes is an exciting read. Awhile back, my mom made little albums about me and my sister for each of us of things she thought we would like to remember. That's something I should do for my daughters, gather up each one's pics and put the best in a small album for them. At least mom's were in albums. Most of mine are not. But I did learn from her early on to write names and dates on the backs of them.

LOL, so you want a how-to on cleaning out umpteen years of papers? emoticon Here it is in a nutshell: START! Seriously, it was so overwhelming, I wasn't sure where/how to start. I started off with labeling a couple of file folders for like items. One of mine says CATS. I have their adoption papers and vet visits there which is how I know about how old the little senior cat is. I have another labeled CAR, purchase papers and maintenance. I have ones for my two credit cards. Now that was a job because I was way behind, I had ones from years back, and they weren't in order. I looked up how long you're supposed to keep various records and sorted accordingly. Now all those bills are in order and in one place where they're supposed to be instead of a stack to things to get to. Getting A-Round-Tu-it isn't a good system at all; you never have a Round Tuit when you need one. emoticon
