I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

It rained so I didn't have to water. For some reason, it seems like rainwater is better than the stuff that comes out of the faucet. Take care and be safe!!!

I am going to check out my fitness pal tonight. I don't really like Fatsecret as I work with it, even though quite a few spf's have joined. I may stay there to support them and track on MFP. Thanks for letting me know.

Mockingbirds and blue jays are probably the most common birds in the neighborhood. We’re lucky to have that little nest to watch. Mockingbirds are very territorial and very aggressive toward anything that threatens them. We’ve seen them chase off much bigger birds. We’ve also seen them beating up on a cat who got too close to their nest. We’ve been careful to move slowly and not give them cause for alarm so they don’t bomb-dive us. I hope we get to see the babies’ first flights. One year we had two nests, mockingbirds in a large bush and doves in an oak tree. The doves’ nest looked like a slum compared to the other much better made nest, lol. We had cardinals set up housekeeping outside our bedroom windows, and they were the noisiest things.

A bunch of us are joining or have joined (like me) One spark member formed a group for SP refugees called Sparkle and shine. If you sign up, and I hope you do, do it online/desktop computer, not through the app. It's easier and you have access to more, like the groups. Thank you for your email, now I can send you an invite to a private premier at my YouTube channel soon. emoticon

Hiya! I see I have a Sparkmail from you. I can't open it until I get home to my computer; will hopefully exchange some sort of info to stay in touch after the new Spark kicks in.
