Your pup is half Jack Russell and half Dachshund? That must be one fun yet stubborn little dog! I'm also a huge dachshund lover. Your profile pic about your height caught my eye; I too am 4'11". I love how detailed your goals are and I'm going to update mine. I'm also adding you as a friend. It's nice to "meet" you!

HI I just read you comment on Kurtis' passing blog. I might of read it before and thanked you then. Your thought are comforting and thankful you had that root beer in honor of him.
He was so thirsty hours before he passed and they wouldn't let him have anything to drink. Get this it might compromise his lungs causing him to go into respitory distress and die. He was dying it was just a matter of time. I cannot believe that they wouldn't give him adequate pain medication stating that he might get addicted to them. He was dying had been for about 3 years. It would of been nice to have him not have so suffer so much in the last 6 months. I would of gave him that drink since he was so darn thirsty. But they had cameras all over the room so that a tech could monitor the patients when their nurse was busy. I know he wouldn't of aspirated it anyhow. This is how he had been for the last month or so. I really could kick myself for not doing it. Yet so many friends here on Sparks have had one for him. :) and it does bring me peace that he is not suffering any longer and is in a much better place trying on those legs that work since he was born paralyzed from Spina Bifida.
He is now dancing with angels not worry about what a girl would say when he asked them to dance. He went to all his school dances and would make sure that the girls that didn't get asked would get a chance to dance. Only one girl had a negative remark. On his memorial page a high school friend comments. "Thank you Kurtis, you were my first dance and my first friend in high school. I can't wait to dance with you again!" It was really the sweetest comment I read on that particular page.
Have a great weekend. You brightened my day as I was sitting here remembering a lot of things from when he was little.
