I'm Jacqueline, a mother of 2 fantastic sons, and part-time mermaid ;). I live and grew up on Long Island. I've had a lot of medical issues, mostly resolved thankfully, and it's been a rough road, but I'm getting there. The K in my screen name is in honor of my best friend, Kent, in Sweden yet with me always. He's been my best supporter in my quest to get fit and lose weight and is always here for me.

I joined SP May 17, 2011 and somehow got the maintenance version and had to start all over again and re-enter all my foods in October '11. I joined a pool this Feb. to work around some physical obstacles (thus the mermaid bit :D) and am now swimming in my pool and gardening for my cardio.

Fitness Minutes: 19,642

My Goals:
Increase functional strength, enjoy my pool community, and be more active over the course of the day. :D


My Program:
1) Stay in calorie range
2) Track all food and exercise
3) Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
4) Eat at least 5 fruits and/or veggies a day
5) Do cardio a minimum of 5 days/week while meeting my weekly calorie expenditure goals
6) ST 3x a week minimum to keep my metabolism high and have a nicely toned body to reveal once the fat melts off ;-)
7) Eat as cleanly as possible
8) Take monthly measurements so when the scale is unkind, I have some other way to see my progress
9) Take part in challenges or make my own!
10) Try new ways of working out
11) Aim for the high end of my target heart rate zone
