Hello my name is Jackie and I have been on every diet there is, so I'm very serious this time I'm not dieting but on the journey to a lifestyle change. I started this journey on March 26, 2017 weighing 348 pounds. Was doing pretty good and went into Congestive heart failure and spent 21 days in the hospital the month of May. When I got out of the hospital it was no questions on whether I was going to continue on the journey. It just made me more serious and today l'm down to 296.2. The most I've lost and kept off for more than a month or two but it's starting to get hard need a little encouragement. Spark has helped me by logging my food everyday. Now I'm doing a little more on Spark and it seems to work so I decide to join a team.

My Goals:
My final goal is to get down to 150-160 pounds. My monthly goal is to loss 8-10 pounds per month. Exercising goal is to at least exercise 4-5 times a week or 300 minutes a week.

My Program:
Since I got out of the hospital I have been on a low sodium lifestyle change and as of today I don't add salt to anything I cook. I Cook everything fresh, read labels, meal prep and don't eat more than 2000 mg of sodium a day. Went to cardiac rehab for 3 months and have continued to excerise 3-4 days a week. Also try to talk to a nutritionist at least 2-3 times a month.

Personal Information:
I'm 63 years old and have been retired for 7.5 yrs. I love working with young people and in the church. I'm an a
Associate Minister at my church where I do nursing home ministry. I also love traveling and being on the move. Just starting to get better since I was sick and getting ready to be on the move again!!!

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs.
