Well, I am back after a very long break! Unfortunately, during that long break, I gained back 25 pounds! Ugh! Very frustrating after losing 90lb.

I am a 45 year old single mom of 3 boys, ages 6, 18 & 19). Being a single mom is very stressful but we are doing well and all in all I'm much happier now than I was when I was married.

I am back here on spark people to try to get my eating back under control. I need to step back from all I know and just start over! Back to baby steps. I know if I did it once, I can do it again. Luckily, exercise is still a big part of my life. I still work out most days of the week, I just eat too darn much, so that's my focus. Food!

My Goals:
Daily goals:
1. Log my calories daily!
2. Exercise minimum of 30 minutes daily, 6 days per week.

Short term goals:
1. Under 200lb MET!
2. Fit comfortably in my size 16's MET
3. Fit into size 14. MET!
4. Fit into size12. MET!
5. Fit into size 10.

New goals:
1. Under 190
Fit comfortably in size 14's

Long term goals:
Size 8?
body fat under 22%?
I want to look more like an athlete! I want to walk into sporting goods/outdoors stores and feel like I belong! I want to go on long hikes, long bike rides and feel proud of my accomplishments and to have my family feel proud of me!

My Program:
No program. Just trying to make healthy choices, log my food and exercise most days of the week.

Personal Information:
Born and raised in California but moved to Idaho in 95 and have been here since. Love it here, except for the long, cold winters! However, now that I have bought my own house, I'm staying put. Besides, I've learned to love cross country skiing, which helps the winter go by!

Other Information:
Love to read, spend time with my kids, hike and cross country ski with my friends, ride my bike and play on my computer.

    Hey Joyce. I'm doing pretty great. Getting ready for my older daughter's wedding Feb 5th. It's keeping me pretty busy! I fell and hurt both knees over Christmas (torn meniscus). And of course I wanted to be on the treadmill to slim down before the big day so I whined to the Ortho Dr. and he gave me some velcro braces to wear for work and working out. Yay. I'm doing pretty good. I walk real slow but anything is better than not at all. And I'm keeping my calories pretty low to compensate.
    Her wedding will only happen once and I don't want to look like a hippo in the pictures FOREVER!

    Thanks for the goodie. I had a 10 hour day on Saturday and 8 hour on Sunday but my family took me out to breakfast first. I was a little "wiped", lol. Hope your day was super too!

    Thanks for the SparkGoodie! I went line dancing tonight--I didn't know how many calories that burns! So much fun :)

    I L-O-V-E your vision board! Is it a full poster board? Where do you put it? I need to make one. I'm inspired now!
