Hello Sparkers!
I am 23 years old, and have been overweight for as long as I can remember! I have a wonderful fiance named Matthew who fell in love with me at my heaviest weight (280lbs). With wedding plans in the future, and thoughts of starting a family, I am more determined than ever to become healthy again. Currently starting SparkPeople, I am at 270 pounds. My ultimate goal as I begin this journey is to lose 100lbs by August 10th, 2013. I am so lucky to have my best friend as an incredible support for me as I begin one of the hardest challenges of my life so far. I have made a plan with Tara to e-mail her every single night to keep her updated on my progress, such as how my day went, struggles I may have had, and success'. I am feeling motivated and excited to begin this new part of my life!

I have two visual motivators to help keep me on track throughout this process. The first one is a combination of two jars on my dresser. In one jar I have 100 blue pebbles, and in the second jar I have empty space waiting to be filled up by the same pebbles as I lose each pound - moving a pebble for every pound that I lose into the waiting jar.

My second motivator is my list of rewards as I lose weight. For each 5 pound lost, I will reward myself with a "small" reward. For each 10 pounds, I will rewards myself with a "big" reward. Each 25 pounds will represent a "milestone" reward for me. Here are the rewards I have chosen for myself:
