Still here and working on fitness. I can't say that I have gained a whole lot back but I have gotten a whole lot lazier. Winter here in Western NY has been brutal. It is so cold all you want to do is hibernate like a bear. I got back on the bike this past week, turned the Wii back on and have worked out for 5 days now. Tonight I tried Wii Zumba dance. Let me tell you...I only did the beginner program and I worked it! Sweat was pouring and heart was pumping. Felt good but I don't think I could do it all the time. I want to try Bigget Loser or Dance Party 2. Has anyone done that?

My Goals:
I am starting out with a couple of attainable goals. One is to get back to my caloric intake and good eating at least 5 days a week if not 6. Secondly to strength train every other day. Third is 30 mins of cardio daily. I am going to force this for a month and I know by then I will just be back into that mode.

My Program:
Tracking my food intake daily, but changing it up so I don't get bored. That's what made me stop last October.

Making sure I do cardio and strength training routinely. I know thats where the inches come off.

Keeping the junk out of my house and if I buy it for my husband it will be stuff I won't eat.

Personal Information:
I am from a small town in Western New York called Appleton. It is very rural, and about as far north as you can go before swimming in Lake Ontario. I am almost 51 and proud of it. I have two children of my own and two newly added from marriage. I was married in June of 2009 to the greatest guy on the planet, possibly the universe, who supports me in every move and decision I make....although sometimes I don't make the greatest ones. I have taught special needs children for 28 years in my own room, so I have the most needy of the district ranging in age form 8-10. I can retire in 4.5 years and when I do I am wearing a two piece suit because my second life will be in Florida.

Hey baby! Thanks so much for your comments on my blogs. So great to catch back up with you. This diet thing has been rough, but you are right...a lot of it is psychological.

Hi Baby girl! I love your new profile pic. THANK YOU for stopping by my spark page. Wow, a lot has changed for me, specifically regarding being fully committed to this fitness/weight loss thing! Woo hoooo!!!

I'm so glad to "see" you again and hope things are working out with the new hubby. I think we ALL gain weight right after we get married... it's a matter of settling in. But YOU CAN get the weight back off. You should know that you are beautiful RIGHT NOW, AS YOU ARE!! emoticon emoticon

It is a possibility that we may be related - I think Mr Jordan traced his geneology back to the east. In fact, his g-grandfather left his wife and started a new family without ever divorcing - scandalous!!!!!
They are a crazy bunch though!!!
