For God did not give us a spirit of timidity,but a spirit of power,of love & self-discipline. 2Tim 1:7 HIS banner over us is Love!

Father I love You. You're such a good God. You are so good to us. Holy Spirit, You're my helper. Help me as I pray. Help me with my praying. Guide and direct my praying. Holy Spirit inhabit my prayers. Father, I want to live by Your word that says "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" Matthew 6:33. Father, I surrender everything to You. Holy Spirit, help me to surrender completely; nail my fleshly desires to the cross. Father, the most important thing in my life is to have Your presence. Let Your Holy Spirit fill me. Father, I give you everything. I give You my spirit, soul, body, mind, will, emotions, feelings, finances, and possessions. Father I give You my spirit. Let me be one with You as Jesus was one with You and the disciples; You in me and I in You, Jesus in me and I in Jesus; the Holy Spirit in me and I in the Holy Spirit. Father, I give You my mind. Let me have the mind of Christ with all Your wisdom. Father give me wisdom; Godly wisdom, spiritual wisdom, wisdom in the world, and Father give me financial wisdom; don't let me waste Your blessings; don't let me waste Your money. Father I give you my soul; my feelings, my emotions, my passions. And Father I give You my will. Not my will but Your will be done in my life. Father You have a perfect plan for my life. Make it happen, Father, make it happen. Make it come to pass, Father, let it be Father, let it be. Let the Holy Spirit draw me close to Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit rule and reign in my heart. Let the Holy Spirit lead and guide me in everything I do. And Father, let me come to know the Holy Spirit as the real person He is; where He is my comforter, counselor, partner, adviser, my friend, and my teacher, the giver of every good and perfect gift. And Father I give you the glory and honor and praise. Thank you, Father. In Jesus name Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.

Phil 1:3-6 I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Matthew 7:7 Jesus said "Keep on asking...keep on seeking..keep on knocking." Jesus wants us to be persistent in prayer and keep expressing our faith in gratitude knowing that He is going to answer us.

"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's." - Ps 103:2-5

    I just read this poem & felt it too good not to share on this CHRISTmas Eve! God bless!

    {This is another version of 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' }

    'Twas the night before Jesus came
    and all through the house
    Not a creature was praying,
    Not one in the house.
    Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care
    In hopes that Jesus would not come there.

    The children were dressing to crawl into bed.
    Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
    And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap
    Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

    When out of the East there arose such a clatter.
    I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
    Away to the window I flew like a flash,
    Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

    When what to my wondering eyes should appear
    But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
    With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray
    I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

    The light of His face made me cover my head
    It was Jesus! returning just like He had said.
    And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
    I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

    In the Book of Life which He held in His hand
    Was written the name of every saved man.
    He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
    When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame.

    The people whose names had been written with love
    He gathered to take to His Father above.
    With those who were ready He rose without a sound.
    While all the rest were left standing around.

    I fell to my knees, but it was too late;
    I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
    I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
    Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

    In the words of this poem the meaning is clear;
    The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
    There's only one life and when comes the last call
    We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

    (by Reverend Edward M. Gionest, Sr.)

    To those who receive Him, He gives the power to become the sons of God, even to those that believe on his name. Repent and declare with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.

    This Life on Earth

    Easter means that this life on earth
    is not all there is.
    Jesus went "to prepare a place for us"
    in His Father’s heavenly mansions
    for all eternity.
    Jesus died for our sins,
    paying our penalty,
    so that we could be forgiven.
    He was resurrected, to prove
    that death has no hold
    on those who repent
    and accept Him as Savior.
    This life on earth is a prelude
    to eternal joy with our Lord.
    Easter is a celebration
    of our eternal destiny.
