I am a full-time pediatric nurse and a full-time homeschooling mom to three little blessings. In the busyness of life I have put my physical well being on the back burner but I am aiming to turn it around. I find myself sinking into depression more and more often and I know that if I can instill better nutrition and fitness habits in my life I will be better able to combat the depression. I am determined to set a good example for my own children and hopefully they can avoid some of the mistakes ...
I am a full-time pediatric nurse and a full-time homeschooling mom to three little blessings. In the busyness of life I have put my physical well being on the back burner but I am aiming to turn it around. I find myself sinking into depression more and more often and I know that if I can instill better nutrition and fitness habits in my life I will be better able to combat the depression. I am determined to set a good example for my own children and hopefully they can avoid some of the mistakes I have made.

My Goals:
My overall goal is to feel confident that I am doing what I can to have a vibrant, productive life. I want to rework my fitness and nutrition habits so I have the energy I need in my daily life.
Short Term Goal #1 - Weigh 150 by July 4, 2019
Short Term Goal #2 - Do not drink any soda for 30 days. (Did this once. I can do it again.)
Long Term Goal #1 - Weigh 130 lbs by November 1, 2019.
My Program:
* Intermittent Fasting 8/16 with less than 500 cal 3 days/week- try this for 3 weeks
* Drink 8 cups of water every day
* Walk 40 minutes 5 days a week
* Aerobics 30 minutes 4 days a week
* Strength training 10 minutes a day 4 days a week
Personal Information:
Pennsylvanian by birth and upbringing and that is where my heart will always be. However I currently make my home in Southern Indiana.
My husband and I have been married for 15 years and we have three children ages 14, 12 and 6.
Other Information:
Hobbies: Exploring nature, knitting, reading
Favorite Authors: Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Sir Walter Scott, Alan Bradley
