Hi I am Kell and I am always on a diet it seems. I am 39 again and would like to be healthier as I go into my 40's. I am taking my health and wellness serious since I am lucky to have no health problems and would like to keep it that way.

NOTE: People of normal weight NEED A MINIMUM of 1800 calories just to keep your body healthy. And thats if your a couch potato and think exercise is a boon to your existance. LOL

New Year Goals for 2009

1. To learn Yoga (beginner and intermediate).
2. To eat less but NOT diet.
3. To live more simply.
4. Save money.
5. Exercise no less then 3 times a week.
6. To lose 50 pounds this year.

My Rights as a Woman

I have the right to be a GODDESS.
I have the right to love and be loved.
I have the right to feel sexy.
I have the right to feel beautiful.
I have the right to be treated with dignity no matter my size.
I have the right to move freely and express myself in my own way.
I have the right to feel successful and fulfilled.
I have the right to live joyfully and happily.

I am a Goddess! LOL

So many people get bogged down because they've plateaued or simply aren't losing weight. I am losing weight at a pace so slow it's almost imperceptible. Why am I not depressed about it? Because it's against the rules! Here are the rules. Feel free to share them, steal them, or whatever. Make them work for you.
So here are my rules that you can feel free to adopt:
I have no control over the numbers on the scale. I only control how much physical activity I get and what I choose to ingest.
My progress will be measured by how active I am that day and my food choices. I will not berate myself if my body needs to rest. I will give my body what it needs that day.
I will praise and celebrate my accomplishments a lot and just acknowledge my shortcomings...because I'm not superhuman and I don't need to be perfect.
I will not be unkind to myself.
I will learn to love myself unconditionally.
I will learn to live passionately and with as much love for myself as I have for others.
I will remember that what makes me a Goddess is my passion, heart, and soul, not my physical attributes.

Fitness Minutes: 15,240

My Goals:
Goal 1: Is to be in a marathon for the first time.
Goal 2: Is to actually be able to buy clothes in a normal store in the regular womans section.
Goal 3: To be physically and mentally healthy as I age from now on.
Goal 4: To be skinny or considered skinny for the first time in my life.
Goal 5: To never have to worry about having to "fit in a seat" or booth. This goes for airplane seating and going on rides in an amusement park.
Goal 6: To learn Yoga.
Goal 7: To eat less but no more diets.
Goal 8: To live simple.
Goal 9: To save money.

My Program:
I am no longer on Nutrisystem. I have noticed a small increase in my blood pressure since I started Nutrisystem as there sodium contents are way high for the very small portions.
I have decided to start using Spark as a way to watch my calories and to apply all I have learned to continuing my weight loss efforts.
I drink more then the recomended water since this keeps my metabolism going and keeps me from gaining weight. I also make sure I eat a high protein/fiber breakfast everyday.
On average my weight loss is slow BUT steady. I am losing this the right way.
I have been on every diet imaginable and it wasnt until this year that I decided I needed to make some serious changes. But I want them to be permanent this time.

I have already lost 50lbs. but I have decided to restart my diet/weight loss since my gallbladder surgery.
I am going to start over with my current weight and set small goals of 50 lbs increments. Now I just need some motivators to get to that weight.
