Well I've been here before....on the weight loss trail, but THIS time I have help. And a better attitude. I think a positive attitude is the key to sticking to a weight loss plan. I call it a plan because it is a never ending journey, you don't just QUIT eating right and never gain weight again....this is for life.
Now, If my body will just stop sabotaging me. ( bulging disc in lower back and degenerative arthritis in lower back and ankles...how the heck do you walk without using your ankles!!! ) My goal is to move more and push thru the pain. I am going to do this!!!

Joined Spark pages but didn't really start really being a sparkie till the Winter of 2009, when I was up to 242 lbs.
Set my Goals and lost 45 lbs. Life happened and I gained a bit back. I'm back on Track to get to goal. My goal at 5'10" is 175.

With some support from our buddies we can all be FANTASTIC no matter where we are on our journey!
I turned the Big FIVE OH 2 years ago!!...working on a better me, mentally and physically; I am going to be an AWESOME "old" lady!

I have struggled to be a skinny girl all my life.

    Hi Kabooper! Thanks for stopping by my blog on the "31-Day Pretty Girl Rockin' Weight Loss Challenge" and so sorry I'm just getting back with you. But what I mean by eating 80% clean, 100% of the time is having a healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner and a couple of your snacks (I always plan 3 of these a day), but then if I want a dirty treat, (like my mini bags of Cheetos), i will have it! That also means to me that I get in all 3+ servings of my veggies and all 2+ servings of my fruit (regardless) and again, if I slip up on a dirty snack or so, no biggie. As long as you're consistent with the things YOU NEED to have, your fruits, veggies, water, grains, protein, etc., you're good. And no, i'm not counting out anything in this challenge (thats the good thing about it), you decide your nutritional plans yourself, keeping in mind that you should make healthy choices as much as possible. Let me know when you start and then email me all your stats. GOOD LUCK!

    I'm going to work on moving myself up the list of priorities--thanks for the encouragement. It really is true that if you take care of yourself, you can do more for others. emoticon amy

    Thank you for your comment on my blog. I'm trying REALLY hard. I will look for those recipes. Variety keeps me going from day to day, but it's hard to come by with such limited ingredients to work with!
