I've struggled with my weight since I was a young girl. The first time I remember thinking about my weight and body size is when I was 10 and realized that my thighs rubbed together. I begged my parents to let me buy those silver shorts that would shed inches off my thighs. They hugged me and told me that I was fine the way I was.
