Long story short: I believe this is the third time I am on this journey. During the summer of 2018 I got to my "enough" weight and started working my way down again. For the six months between April and November 2019 I plateaued in terms of the numbers on the scale hovering between within a five pound range between 198 and 203. I am pleased that since November the plateau appears to have been busted. Let's hope it stays that way. As of March 2020, I am at the initial goal I was shooting for. Doing a happy dance!

Even though the numbers stayed the same for those six months, I felt healthier in a multitude of ways: I am stronger, my back hurts less, my legs are much stronger, I have less trouble breathing. Overall, I just feel much better. Just because the numbers don't move doesn't mean there isn't progress and so long as I keep working on my daily actions, things will continue to improve.

Fitness Minutes: 105,688

My Goals:
Weight goals: According to BMI charts I guess I'm supposed to be 165lbs. I am currently shooting for somewhere between 180 and 185lbs and we'll go from there.
Food goals: 3 servings of fruit and veges every day; cut down on evening snacks
Sleep goals: 7 hours of sleep every night
Exercise goals: continue what I am doing in my program

My Program:
During the week I walk up (and down) five levels of ramps in the parking garage where I work and I try to swim twice a week. Besides that I have the best workout partner in the world and we do a 5K walk every weekend and 30 minute hill climbing twice a week.

Personal Information:

Other Information:
2020 is off to a great start. 2000 fitness minutes and 100 miles for the month of January. February ended up with 2500 minutes and another 100 miles. Also lost another 10lbs which makes me happy. Let's keep the good vibes coming!

If you want/need a little push...consider joining us for an 5 week challenge.

Why not join the X-WEIGHTED CHALLENGE? We're all ages, all fitness levels, all striving to live a healthier life. There is always something to learn from each other. These teams are also a great source of motivation! We can become healthier by working together and making new friends as we go. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. It is similar to the Biggest Loser team. There are 3 teams that compete within the X-Weighted team. We do ATC (All Teams Challenge) various challenges (nutrition, fitness etc.) The main requirement is to post your weight weekly. The ATC challenges and/if individual teams have challenges are optional (however, very beneficial). If you have any questions, please let me know.
