    Hey there! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! We went to my sister's for the weekend and I'm just now getting caught up on things. (Actually I came home, looked at my house, and decided it needed a spring/fall cleaning-lol.) I haven't had a chance to try any of the dehydrating recipes but I'm hoping to be home all day tomorrow so that I can try one then. Hope all is going well! TTYS!

    Thanks for your comment on my blog. The therapist is funded through the hospital. I was thinking of canceling her because all she is doing now is stressing me out.

    You can do this. I was 229.5 on March 1 this year. It's a mindset and something you just have to decide you are going to do. You can't make too many exceptions. I went away, drove to NJ for 3.5 weeks. Had 1 stay the same and 2 losses and a loss when I got back.

    I went dog/house sitting for my girlfriend for 2.5 weeks. Lost every week. I actually took my scale with me on both trips.

    It can be done, but you can't keep making excuses (not you, particularly, just anyone that wants to lose weight). There's always an office party, birthday celebration, something where food is a big deal to most. You just HAVE to make conscious choices ahead of time on how you are going to handle it. YOU COME FIRST - Your health is the most important. Without that, there won't be any celebrations to attend.

    So, give it a try. Stick to your guns when it comes to others trying to get you to eat something you know is not a good choice. Mindset and eyes on the goal. You are the Only one that can get you there.
