UPDATED SP NAME FROM WMUGRAD

"It may be alright to be content with what you have never with what you are."

You can succeed if nobody else believes it, but you will never succeed if you don't believe in yourself.
- William J. H. Boetcker

Member Since: 10/2/2008

Fitness Minutes: 60,008

My Goals:
* Work out 5 times a week
* Feel confident in whatever I wear
* Be proud of the success that I have made.
* Make healthy choices

My Program:
*Track weight every Friday.
*Track measurements (inches) first day of the month
*Tracking fitness and food everyday.
*10k steps minimum
* HIITT 6 days per week
* Daily activity/memory building with my girls
*Give myself "Me Time"
*Self- ACCEPTANCE! (most important)

Personal Information:
I am a 31 year old who is determined to get into shape and healthy. I started using Sparkpeople in 2008 when I was preparing for my wedding. In 2010 I buckled down and lost 30 lbs using Sparkpeople everyday. I tracked my food and fitness and was super excited and proud of my successes. Life and all of its celebrations and challenges happened, I fell off, lost my spark and honestly felt as if I could do this without this community. I gained and lost for many years.

I live in the Kalamazoo, MI area and married my best friend on Dec. 19th 2009. We had our first child in April 2015 and our second in October 2016. Now having two daughters of my own I feel like it is even more important that I learn to love my body in its stages and transitions. I am healthy but the weight and the tag along body image worries me about what I may model for my little ones. While the goal is to lose weight and feel good in my clothing, the overarching goal is to model health and living a positive life.

Other Information:
Pre-children I was running half marathons and cycling. Now I spend a lot of time gardening, walking and some riding sprinkled in. I am using fitbit to track my steps, I work on at the gym and at home (DVDS, weights, bands, and treadmill).

    Hey, what a nice surprise. Hope life is going well for you. Are you still in the area? I'm working at K College now. Busy with grands and continue to struggle with weight but this too is life. Take care and thanks for the note!

    Welcome to Fit and Pregnant! Congrats on your third child. I was just reading an article the other day that was talking about how the "middle child" was becoming an extinct child. :) The research is beginning to show that most families are only having one or two children, thus eliminating the middle child.

    I think it's great that you are having a third. I have a 12 yr old stepson, with this one on the way. We are talking about having a third as well.

    I don't know how I missed your message, but I'm just seeing it now! emoticon
    Hope you're feeling better from being sick. emoticon job working out on your vacation!

    I've tracked my food every day for the last week and am getting back into the swing of regular exercise. I love exercise but have been nursing a foot injury for the past year and a half, and my favorite exercises aggravate my foot. So it's hard to be consistent while taking it easy, because it's easy to overdo the enjoyable exercise and avoid the unenjoyable "safe" exercise.

    Thanks for stopping by my page for accountability. I've been off track for awhile. I'm working on tracking my food. Two days in so far! How is logging your food and activity daily going for you?
