My Goals:

*Track weight every Friday.
*Track measurements (inches) first day of the month
*Tracking fitness and food everyday.
*10k steps minimum
* HIITT 6 days per week
* Daily activity/memory building with my girls
*Give myself "Me Time"
*Self- ACCEPTANCE! (most important)

Personal Information:
I am a 31 year old who is determined to get into shape and healthy. I started using Sparkpeople in 2008 when I was preparing for my wedding. In 2010 I buckled down and lost 30 lbs using Sparkpeople everyday. I tracked my food and fitness and was super excited and proud of my successes. Life and all of its celebrations and challenges happened, I fell off, lost my spark and honestly felt as if I could do this without this community. I gained and lost for many years.

I live in the Kalamazoo, MI area and married my best friend on Dec. 19th 2009. We had our first child in April 2015 and our second in October 2016. Now having two daughters of my own I feel like it is even more important that I learn to love my body in its stages and transitions. I am healthy but the weight and the tag along body image worries me about what I may model for my little ones. While the goal is to lose weight and feel good in my clothing, the overarching goal is to model health and living a positive life.

Other Information:
Pre-children I was running half marathons and cycling. Now I spend a lot of time gardening, walking and some riding sprinkled in. I am using fitbit to track my steps, I work on at the gym and at home (DVDS, weights, bands, and treadmill).

    I'm losing the weight too with intentions on trying to start a family within the next 2 years. Glad WW is treating you well! Good luck with run camp, I'm sure you'll do great! I had been walking/jogging 2 miles a 4-5 days a week up until I got sick. Just started running in vibrams and I love it. Gotta get back to the gym now that I'm finally feeling better. That bronchitis I had wiped me out. I just wrote a blog today about the slow weight loss process. I know I didn't gain the weight overnight, but sometimes it's just so tempting to want to see the scale move and fast. I'm going to sign up for a 5k for the end of May. I've done it before several years. but had been MIA for 2 years and need to get back to running. Slowly but surely we can do this! Miss you!

    Hey chickie - how's it going with WW? I miss you - thanks for the phone call the other morning even though I was in a coma ha! Got any goals for this summer? Weight, activity....triathlons maybe? *nudge nudge* I bought some vibrams and I'm walking/jogging on the treadmill at the gym with a goal of not only weight loss but improving my time for a 5k. I usually run or walk the Sunburst which is in South Bend, IN at the beginning of June. I think Rachel is doing it too this year - last year we just did the 5k fitness walk. If I didn't tell you already I joined that little 24/7 gym in Edwardsburg that's just outside of town going towards Granger. I like it. It's never packed and I can just be anonymous. Miss you!!! Write when you get a chance.
