I have been on so many diets only to put it on again plus a few more lbs
but this time I'm going to do it for sure. As from the end of June 43lbs to go. I am feeling a little bit lost at this time as my husband of 40 years passed over last year and it made me wake up to the fact as I had been caring for my mother ,sister and DH I had pounded on the weight and let myself go so now I am turning it around by taking better care of myself and eating sensibly which should help with my health problems I am walking more each day.

19/09/2008 Well today I suddenly realized I have lost 21 lbs and so much has happend since join sparks I have made new friends on and off the web. I have gone back to Collage for my Art classes and doing a Creative Writing Course as well so I am getting out and about once more

I am enjoying my journey so far I have done things that I would not have done before Sparks I have been entered into the Tate Liverpool exhibition with a blog and my waterpainting has improved plus I am now going out once a month with the girls I have made friends with I am getting better at excepting beening on my own and as my caption says one step at a time .

I have had a few set backs over the last few months First
just before Christmas I was told my Cancer was back .
But with the help of my Family and My SPSISTERS I am back on the road to getting well again.I have found the depression much harder to manage due to the drugs but each time some one has been there holding out their hand to help and support. I have been told today That I am a much stronger person than I was 12 months ago.
I have learnt to say No and mean it . I now know there is nothing to stop me doing what I want to do when I want to do it .I am well on the way to a new Lynn and I like her.!


Its the start of the new year and I am making myself sit up and take notice due to health problems I did not do so good in 2009. So now it has to change I am going to lose at least 4lbs a month thats my target so by the start of 2011
I will hopfully be 48lbs lighter and able to ward off any medical issues.This what I am aiming for so lets get it started:

    thanks for the rhubarb and ginger jam recipy.. i have rhubarb in the freezer mmm and i love ginger..
    2 lbs.. does that come to about 4 cups ? lol..
    thanks for the great recipy.. now to just get it made.. i admire all the cooking and baking you still do.. you have energy ... it must be the air over there.. lol.. all UK gals seem to have extra energy.. or at least do more than us over here. laying carpet saturday.. my goodness.. i wish i had some of your spunk.. keep moving and grooving.. and you will be healthy and smiling.. xoox
