Fitness Minutes: 35

My Goals:
1. To change the way I eat

2. Be excited with life

3. Reach out to others

4. Write in a journal

5. Go for long walks.

6. Be Happy!

My Program:
 1. Eat less, eat healthy

2. Move more, exercise.

3 Blog often, be honest.

4. Drink lots of water.

5. Be enthusiastic!


Personal Information:
I worked as a nanny in San Diego for the last 27 years. The last 20 years with the same family.
Now, I live with my parents in Fort Jones, CA.
I just turned 60 in May.
We have newly rescued dogs, Dixie & Charlotte.



Other Information:
 I have been a Christian since February 1, 1981.

On that day Robert Schuller told me Jesus wanted to be my friend.

Through all my life trials, Jesus is always with me!

And, Goodness & Mercy follow me.

    All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy.
    If the world were a logical place, men would be the ones who
    ride horses sidesaddle.
    What is a "free" gift? Aren't all gifts free?
    They told me I was gullible and I believed them.
    Teach a child to be polite and courteous in the home, and when
    he grows up, he'll never be able to merge his car onto the freeway.
    Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone.
    One nice thing about egotists .. they don't talk about other people.
    My weight is perfect for my height ... which varies.
    I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not sure.
    The cost of living hasn't affected its popularity.
    If swimming is so good for your figure, how do you explain whales?
    Show me a man with both feet firmly on the ground, and I'll
    show you a man who can't get his pants off.
    Is it me, or do buffalo wings taste like chicken

    A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.


    A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.

    He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

    Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.


    That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

    The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day even though I cannot see it."

    Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?



    Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile.


    Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

    Remember: God IS in control!

    The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling… And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

    Remember.....live every day to the fullest. Each minute is a blessing from God. And never forget....the people who make a difference in our lives are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care for us. I love you my friend!
