This picture is a great metaphor for how I want to be, a strong flower despite the storm.

Wow, just read what I wrote 10 years ago and boy things have sure changed. I am 54 now and no longer live in the country. We moved to the city 9 years ago. I like it here. Sometimes I miss the acreage, but when its mosquito season I am really glad to not be there. My boys are almost grown - 26, 17 and 16. I miss having little ones around. I really miss the cuddles.
My health has really suffered over the last 10 years. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and its been very painful. In April 2019, I died, was relived and then lapsed into a coma for 10 days. When I woke up I couldn't walk or sleep and everything just seems to be different. Lots of leg pain, a spastic bladder, limited leg movement, etc. The list goes on and on. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever be me again.
So hear I am trying to reclaim my life. I can only walk about about a block before my legs refuse to move. Its not muscular. So its understandable why I am at my heaviest. I need help and encouragement.

Lori

I am a 44 year old mother of three sons. I live in British Columbia, Canada and my husband, sons and four cats (they just seem to keep showing up). I am very short so I have always found it hard to keep weight off. Even when I was 109 pounds (high school) I wore a size 9 and my clothes were tight. My doctor says he will be happy to see me at 120 but I know when I get there he will say to lose more. I am a stay-at-home mom and we will on 5 acres in the country.

For the last few years I have been under enormous stress which has added about 60 pounds to my already obese figure. I have been taking Wellbutrin for 5 years and it helps a bit. I have major in-law issues that I am sure everyone is sick and tired of hearing about but I need to vent.

On March 19th, 2010, I started taking Meridia to help with weightloss. I am hoping it will help. My doctor will only let me take it for 3 months. I am hoping in that time that I can lose enough weight that I will feel more confident and want to keep the weight off. I have been a binge eater for many years and I read that Meridia may help.

I need LOTS of support and have lots of support to offer. Leave me a message if you would like.
Lori

My Goals:
I want to improve my health and have energy to play with my children. I want to lower my cholesterol and blood sugar numbers and feel better about myselfdied

My Program:
I keep my calorie limit between 1200 and 1500 daily. The problem is that I gain on 1500 and stay the same on 1200. I need to exercise more to rev up my metabolism.

Personal Information:
I live in British Columbia, Canada with my husband and three sons. We also have three cats, one of whom is 20 years old.

I love reading older books. I finished "Poor White" by Sherwood Anderson written in 1920. About the industrial revolution in a small Ohio town and division between classes. Totally relatable to these times. Awesome book.

Hi!I ride an upright stationary bike. I work out to youtube bike ride videos. I go about 14-15 miles in those 60 mins at level 4, 8 being the highest on my bike. I started a challenge 2 weeks ago now that I have more endurance. 60 days/60 mins. 🤗
