As arthritis and surgeries limit my activity, I am returning to the 5% Challenges for accountability.

Time Restricted Eating and/or Intermittent Fasting...
I know these aren't for everyone, but after researching, I began practicing both in August 2020 and have found the changes in lifestyle to be very helpful in my weight loss journey. I hope to also see dramatic changes in my A1c!

As I get closer to my healthy BMI weight range, I especially welcome support buddies who are maintaining weight loss after using TRE and/or IF to lose weight. I hope to learn what maintenance has been like for you, what tips you might have, what difficulties you had (if any). Have you continued to use TRE and/or IF into Maintenance?     Thanks Natalie, I am a beginning beginner when it comes to running, but this is something I've wanted to do for a long time. I still need to find out if the extra weight I am carrying combined with jogging/running will put too much stress on my knees and ankles so I may have to delay my start. This team looks like it provides plenty of information for newbies so I think I've found the right place. I'm thinking once I can do a 15 minute mile (walking) plus lose some of these pounds I will be good to go (just not sure how much should come off first). emoticon
