Hello Everyone,

Thanks so much for stopping by my page and reading my info.

For the most part of my life I have not had a weight problem. The most I had ever gotten up to was 160lbs. Most of the time I weighed in the 140's.

In 2003 I started having health issues and the weight started jumping on. By November 2012, I weighed in at 299 in my nightshirt. One by one my health issues got me. It was harder and harder to walk because I was in so much pain. I had to leave my job earlier than I had planned.

I had given up and had thoughts of going to a nursing home. Then one day I decided to not give up. I went to Doctor after Doctor, pleading with anyone that would listen, to please help me. Most said I was having problems because I was getting older.

Please don't give me the age card. I KNEW there was something wrong with me. And, I believed in my heart that someone could help me.

I kept on and on and told them (the Doctors), that there is something wrong with me. I begged them to please fix me. I had been to 12 different Doctors. I finally found one that realized right away that I did have a problem.

I am not totally fixed, but I am currently doing physical therapy prescribed by Orthopedic Doc. I am taking prescribed vitamin D and taking Thyroid med.

I am down 36 lbs. since November of 2012. Today is Sunday, October 10, 2020

I knew if I would put my mind to this, some more of the weight would come off. It is a slow process, but I do not want to give up.

I can use all of the encouragement I can get. Thanks.

May each of you be blessed, today and always.

    Hi, Brenda:
I replied to your e-mail too, and hope you have a really great Christmas. We'll be having 9 for Christmas dinner tomorrow - had a good evening tonight - took the family to church for a Christmas eve service, and dinner at brother's house - a block away from ours. Blessings, Larry - emoticon

    Dear Brenda:
Thaks for the goodie, and the encouragement. I havn't given up on this site, just going thru rocky ways right now with the dieting. I did work out on the treadmill, weights and sit ups yesterday. I usually blow it on the snacks - especially late at night - blessings, Larry - emoticon emoticon

    Brenda:
Thanks for the Spark Goodie of a treadmill, and the encouragement - much appreciated. Challenge today is to move Christmas storeage boxes off of my own treadmill, and get a workout. Blessings, Larry - emoticon

How did your surgery go? I hope the repair went as planned and that your pain is controlled well. Hang in there....the hard work is just beginning. The therapy does help a great deal. It will feel good to just move! Take care!
