    Happy to help! I check my differential every day-I use that a lot more than I use the scale. It helps me plan my nutrition as I go throughout the day.

    Look at your calorie differential report. It combines calories in - calories out=differential. Calories out is your basal metabolic rate (BMR) + any exercise you do. Calories in is what you consume (eat or drink) based on what you tracked. A differential of -3500 is generally, though not always, equal to 1 lb lost, over time. So, if you had a differential of -500 (you burned 500 more than you consumed) every day, over the course of a week that will often, but not always, equal 1 lb lost. It's not a perfect formula, but it's useful as a non-scale metric for evaluating success. Hope this helps!
