Every day is a great day! I am happily married, a mother of three, a Grandma of 6 and at the moment my health is fine! I have watched my weight most of my life, I have let it go up and then I do something and I bring it back down. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer (13 years ago now)!!which made me question how I wanted to diet. I went off my low carb. diet and allowed myself to gain 28 pound. Then in 2013 I was fighting Melanoma. I don't mind dieting and exercising, I just get lazy about it sometimes. I love fashion, So loosing weight makes me feel better about myself! I like Sparkpeople, I am now teaching myself to come here, read and be part of the program. I enjoy reading and seeing pictures of others journey to getting healthy. I left a couple of years ago and now returning. Started 2014, again 2016 Now returning 2017-October 30th-Halloween I want to really make this work this time, my weight has gone up too much now! I am back 2020, I have gained 13 pounds from where I was at. We went through a job loss, we had some stress, packing, unpacking, wasn't going to a gym, covid-19, now getting back to watching my eatting, walking, drinking water, now year 2021, cheers to all!! 😁 This is April 2021, I am starting to get off track from what I was doing. I need to stay accountable, I just want to thank SparkPeople for being here for me!!💖

Fitness Minutes: 53,421

My Goals:
My goal is to loose at least 25 pounds. I want to be fit again. Today is May 16, 2011, I have the Spark book that my daughter gave me for Mothers day and I am making the pledge to track my food, exercise 10 plus minutes a day, and to get adequate sleep. The weight is coming off!

My Program:
Eat fewer calories
Exercise more
find lots of ways to motivate myself
use SparkPeople for my highs and lows
drink lots of water
be thankful

Personal Information:
I use to write all my feelings down on paper when I was younger. I have no excuse for not blogging. I have lots of feeling that I keep locked up inside. Like I hate getting older, but I am thankful to be alive. So the getting older will be Ok if I take good care of myself!

Other Information:
I like life! New experiences. I travel a lot with my husband. I love to shop. I have moved a lot so I have spent a lot of time packing and unpacking. I have decorated many homes. I have studied the Bible. One of my favorite quotes is "I can do all things thru Christ which strengthens me"! I enjoy spending time with my husband and adult children. I have four Grandchildren.
