Since joining SparkPeople I have come to learn that my life and my destiny is in my own hands. Relying on others to make me lose weight, get a new job, or be happy won't get me anywhere. I got off the couch to lose weight, well now I'm kicking myself in the butt to strive to be happy through and through. Your biggest supporter can be you own worst enemy....YOURSELF! I will no longer blame anyone else for my misfortune and will get out there and change my life to be the best it can be on my own. I want so much and I'm going to get it!

* I'm DONE feeling sorry for myself because I can't buy cute clothes.
* I'm DONE being to tired to get outside on a beautiful day and playing with my son.
* I'm DONE shying away from my fiance touches my belly because I'm embarassed at how big it is.
* I'm DONE making excuses why I can't exercise.
* I'm DONE saying, "Run? I wouldn't run for my life!"
* I'm DONE looking at people that are in shape and saying, " I wish I looked half as good as that."

I'm DONE! There is so much I want that I've been too chicken to go out and work hard for:
* I want to be able to walk into any store and buy a cute outfit and not worry that they don't carry it in my size.
* I want to wear a bikini.
* I want to get married and look at my wedding pictures and think how amazing I look.
* I want to wear a dress that stops traffic for my 30th birthday.
* I want to walk down the strip in Vegas and have my fiance think, " She is so much hotter than any of these women."
* I want to be a MILF
* I want to be able to wear shorts and a tank top in the summer without tugging them down because my thighs are showing too much.
* I want to run a 5k, then a 10k, and someday a marathon.
* I want to inspire someone.

I want to be better than I've ever been! And I will! Because the only thing holding me back from being able to have it all is me, and I'll kick my own ass to make sure that won't happen anymore!

My Goals:
My goals have changed since I've started this journey. I want to lose weight, and I want to look good, but more importantly, I want to be at a healthy weight and feel healthy. And I want to lose the weight and lose it for good. Slow and steady wins the race, so that's the way I'm going to go.

* Drink 108 oz of water daily.
* Do vigorous workout at least 30 minutes 5 times a week.

Short Term Goals:

October 2010-
* Lose 8 lbs- DONE!

November 2010-
* Lose 8 lbs-DONE!

December 2010-
* Lose 8 lbs - DONE!

January 2012-
* Lose 8 lbs- DONE!
I want to be under 200lbs by February of 2012.

February 2012:

* Lose 8 lbs- DONE!

My Program:
I have come to realize that everything you eat affects you. I try to stick to healthier meals and not eat out. I have completely stopped drinking soda of any kind because it's empty calories. I drink water like a madwoman and aim to get at least 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week.

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Chicago. I'm a huge goofball and am usually always willing to make a fool out of myself to make someone I care about happy. I love my family, I love animals, and I love meeting new people!

Other Information:
I LOVE MUSIC, movies, books, spending quality time with the ones I love and going to Las Vegas whenever I can.
