Hey everyone, I'm April, mother of two wonderful little girls that put a major dent on my body! (Both were c-sections and I think I used that as an excuse not to do situps!) I only have myself to blame, but now it's time to whip this post-prego body back into shape because I refuse to be the "Fat Mom" and I want my girls to be proud of their momma (and mostly so I can keep up!). Although I'm comfortable in my skin, I'm now plateauing and need that next boost to get the rest off! So it's time to Spark it up!


Saw this on another SparkPage so I thought I would write it all down as well! I've been journaling since November. I usually weigh myself every morning although I don't write it down until the end of the week. As you can see I'm hovering at 160. Time to break through to the next level!

155.4 : 12/09/2012 It's been a full year and then some since I've tracked/logged into SparkPeople. The good news is I've stayed the same for a FULL YEAR! I'd flux up and down about 3 pounds both ways but in itself, that is a huge milestone! I hope all of you understand that it's a marathon, not a sprint, and this goes to show that I can maintain even though I'm not tracking! Such is life! But now I feel I should get back on the bandwagon and drop those last 20! Here we go!

My Goals:
My goal is 130 pounds, I started at about 190 post pregnancy and after 4 months I'm at 160. My height is about 5'5" and i know under this skin and fat is a small frame! I weighed this at the start of college so its my ultimate goal! I'm hoping SparkPeople can get me motivated for the next go round!

My Program:
I do a 5K on my elliptical almost everyday. I also drink 48oz of water in my camelbak. I try to "eat clean" and live on green veggies, fresh fruit and lots of fish.

I've maintained my 155 for one whole year without tracking which is good in itself. I always like to start the new year strong so for 2013 I'm hoping to go after those last 20 pounds.

Personal Information:
I have a very supportive husband and two wonderful little girls. I'm getting healthy and fit for myself and for them. I couldn't do this without them!

Other Information:
I'm a huge movie geek! Don't be suprised if I start quoting random cult films!! My favorite movie is Empire Strikes Back but I watch alot of animation with my girls. Right now the movie of choice is MEGAMIND!

I also love everything Harry Potter, Star Wars, Twilight, Hunger Games, Comic Books, Art, Oil Painting and Drawing. My favorite comics are Powers, SiP and Y the Last Man. I also love graphic novels like Box Office Poison. Can you see the geek flowing from me!?

    APRIL! Yay! Glad you found me on here. I love Spark - the community is so motivating. I've lost quite a few inches as a member here, and can't wait until they turn into pounds lost as well. Miss you, and looking forward to cheering you on! :)
