Live in northeastern Montana.

One of my Spark friends had this on his status (4/28/2016) -- THENEWMICHAEL "When it comes to measuring progress, the mirror is a better instrument than the scale."
WOW!!! That is something we all need to take to heart!

We all have a whoops day. Its what you do the day after that counts... Kaliswalker

"You must do the thing you think you cannot do." Eleanor Roosevelt

"I'd rather cheat once a month than fall off the bandwagon and overeat everyday!" - Lynz on her Spark Montana blog

Baby steps. Leaping in wears you out. Then you quit. ~Indygirl

JOHAL52 is still in a holding pattern over life. But that's okay--sometimes holding patterns can lead to growth--it's up to me :) -- Her status for 2Aug11 -- A small comment that speaks volumes.

CATINCJ Never set your goals at some else's pace or evaluate your performance by someone else's standards. Added 2May13 from her feed that day.

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

My Program:
Portion Control - although I haven't been real successful in doing this, I am more aware of what portions are and try to stick with them most of the time.

I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, getting at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. I try to do some strength trainig 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

Jan, 2016 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project. Some are also starting into spinning using drop spindles.

If I didn't have time at work to save my blogs, I doubt I'd do it. If we get a hail storm, I also probably won't be able to keep up with the tasks. In reality though, it only takes about 2 minutes per blog if you don't read them. emoticon

Cody was one of our choices but no we picked Bozeman. We've never spent any time there before other than a trip to the Museum of the Rockies about 17 years ago so we'll explore there and go back to that museum and DD picked another one too plus the Main Street shops, etc. I like the drive to and from Bozeman better too. There is also a tea store I love on the way that I can seldom make it to because they are only open weekdays. We do need to visit the museum in Cody one of these days too though.
