I need to start making ME a priority before it’s too late. It seems my whole life has been helping others and with lack of time and now lack of energy I’m afraid it may soon be too late to learn to take care of myself. I find it hard to break old habits of others first. Raised 4 kids but now that they are older and self sufficient my hubby is dealing with long term injuries from a fall and our parents are getting older and frailties arising. On top of this my body is saying enough and I’m dealing with an autoimmune disease and adrenal fatigue. I NEED TO CHANGE AND MAKE ME A PRIORITY NOW!

My Goals:
I am attempting to lose weight so I look and feel better and I want to wear my wedding rings on the correct finger again!

My Program:
I am attempting to exercise 60 min everyday(or at least 30 min if all else fails) and I try to do strength training daily - I have found a pattern of core exercises one day, upper body the next and lower body the following and then next day back to core exercises.

Personal Information:
Hi, I am Carol, a 40 year old wife and mother of 2 teenagers and 2 twenty somethings (YIKES!!) I live in Southwestern Ontario and am fighting the battle of the bulge after putting others ahead of myself for years and years. It has been brought to my attention that I need to put myself first once in a while - to be the best I can be for others when they need me.

Hi! Thanks for the post on my blog....You know I have been where you are and truly know the feeling. Take pictures all the time and start to watch the changes. The scale might not move but the changes will transform your body and its amazing when you start to notice it. Trust me I used to avoid the mirrors everywhere and only took pictures of my face but now I love seeing the changes that are occuring and love the way it makes me feel and look!!! Thanks again and I added you as a friend so I can watch your progress also....if you ever have questions or need help let me know i am here!!!

emoticon I'm sorry to read about your health issues. There is a Cancer support Team here. My son, Nathan, had Testicular Cancer last year and had surgery and 4 rounds of Chemotherapy. So far his tests have came back negative, but it is a long way to 10 years of being Cancer free. He's at CAMP BLUEBIRD which is a Cancer retreat held every six months.

Hang in there girlfriend - it will all balance out. I have the same issues and get so upset with myself because I feel like I have failed. Guess what? That is what Satan wants us to believe. But...We follow the Son and we will run the race to win!!!! God bless you and keep you and yours safe! Have a beautiful Resurrection Day! Happy Easter - Cat emoticon emoticon
