A new year and hopefully a succesful 2012 are my plans. I am going to approach this coming year completely different from years past....just haven't figured out how yet.

2011- New Intro...before I can get to that a little bout me from last intro....I have severe back issues that has left me disabled for going on 6 years. Every day things that people take for granted like doing dishes or walking to the mail box are more than difficult for me. I get 10 shots every month alternating in each area of the spine; neck, middle back and lower back. I also take pain meds and muscle relaxers daily. I also have to take heart meds, as I have had heart surgery as well.

So now for the stuff for 2011, I am taking this year on completely different. I was successful for the first 6 months last year and lost half my goal weight. Then in three months managed to put half of that loss back on. This year, well I am not making a weight loss goal. This year I am going to work on just being healthly. I am going to be Rockin' with my music. My own drum. Every day the plan will be to do something, eat something and be something more healthier. If by doing this, I am losing weight...that will be a bonus.

Short Term: do something that requres movement for atleast 30 minutes every day!

Long Term: Add years and comfort to my life. Be able to see my kids grow, have a family and be happy.

Spark. Holding myself accountable to this site, my teams and my friends. Be the best that I can be, talk, encourage, support and fill in the blanks every day.

    Thanks for the comment on my SparkPage. I am doing the Spark 5K Your Way and I am walking. I cannot run so I was so glad that they had the option to walk the 5K. My hubby and Pi are my walking buddies. We are walking in the early morning hours. After about 9:30 it is so very hot that you can hardly breathe! Spark On! emoticon emoticon

    OMGosh! You sent me a Spark Goodie Belt! I love that! I just told my husband that I am going to need a new hole in my belt. I've been using my old "work" belt (1-1/2" wide black leather) as my progress gauge. I wear it when I'm taking a trip on the motorcycle as it is very secure to hold my biker wallet. I was so elated to get on the scale this morning and see 219.0! I realize being 2-anything is not a good thing, but it has been a very long time since I've seen the teens. I was so excited that I even told my husband what I weighed. I prefaced it by saying that "looks of disgust", "words of horror and shock", etc would result in him having a very bad day! LOL His eyebrows shot up, but I had to give him that one! Thank you so much for always being there for me. You are my Spark Rock!
