Hello! I'm Navi, a 35 year old who weighs 444lbs (as of 5/22/2020).

As a very obese person I realize that I have to start small, create small, attainable goals, and take things one step at a time.

A friend of mine has suggested I start video logging my journey and I plan to start doing so as soon as I have an acceptable set up. Watch this space for upcoming videos.

In the mean time, I'm going to outlay some very simple goals that for most people are probably easy or things they don't even think about but become a struggle for someone who is very obese.

I want to be as candid as possible about my journey and welcome anyone who wants to go along for the ride.

It can only go up from here!

Fitness Minutes: 140

My Goals:
1. Shower every other day. I have a skin condition that is worsened by showering daily and I've allowed that to become an excuse, coupled with quarantine, for not showering. I am able to shower I just have not chosen to do so. This is goal number one.

2. Nutrition. Starting off I'm more worried about getting to and staying in my allotted calorie range than trying to perfect my plate. I will likely have too much sodium, fat, or other macros, but at the moment my focus is to get the quantity down while slowly improving the quality. This is another baby step in the right direction.

3. Walk. Walk. Walk. I'm starting off with a low step goal due to psoriatic arthritis pain keeping me from going too far too fast. For now that step goal is 2,000 steps per day and I'll increase this as I get stronger. In addition, I am working to strengthen my muscles with simple, modified workouts I can do at home.
