I stumbled upon SparkPeople on our anniversary on 23rd November n when saw abt the book just asked my BiL if he cd get a copy for me n he replied in positive. Got my copy of The Spark n also started reading it.

Mine before n after Photos are a bit different now, coz this is mine Before n After snaps for the time being. As i suceed in my goal of reducing weight n leading a fit life the before n after snaps will change.

U all may not believe it, but since last 2-3 yrs i avoid social functions n hv every excuse ready not to attend social events as whoever saw me had only one topic to talk about - my weight gain.

I kno i'v gained weight (b'coz of my thyroid) but is it required to always point that out on my face?

We get to be together as a family on marriages or sm functions which come once in a while n Anyone who saw me b4 4 yrs n seeing me now had only 1 thing to say - How hv u gained so much weight?? why don't u do smthng abt it? u shd try this or that. etc etc ............

I never had any weight issues since childhood. Its the first time i'v gained so much weight. Hv gained nearly 30 kgs in the last 4 yrs after my marriage.

Hubby also has gained 30 kgs in last 4 yrs. That's mostly coz he's traveling most of the time n can't get healthy food all the time, so has to eat whatever available in that place.

Now determined to lose the extra weight n learn healthy living woth the help of SP for the rest of my life with my family.

My goals -
1) Go on a holiday trip with DH away from our routine hectic lives
2) To get back to 55 kgs
3) Lead a healthy n fit life
4) Add more fruits n veggies to my diet
5) Drink lots of Water
6) Fit into my previous dresses (which i stored as motivation)
7) Wear Long Skirt n Top (hv'nt worn since i started working 6 yrs ago)
8)Wear Jeans n T shirt (hv never worn till now)
9) Fit into a readymade dress (now buy suit pieces n stitch as dont get dress for my size, those are of my size are not good)
10) Get my tThyroid level to normal

My Program:
1) Fruits
2) Veggies
3) Lots of Water
4) Cook healthy @ home
5) Stop buying foods that are not good for my body though good for taste buds
6) Pranayam
7) Treadmill
8) Jump Rope
9) Workout videos
(Shilpa Shetty Yoga DVD n Sparkpeople workout videos)
10) Now use stairs instead of lift in office. mine office is in 2nd floor, bt we hv a section in 1st floor as well so i use the stairs as many times i'v to go to 1st floor n back.
